Well, it’s Valentine’s so I have an excuse to be extra-sweet and extra-chessey today.
- Thank you for being there - especially when my suplada mode is on. I know I can be a pain in the neck at times.
- Thank you for the support - for the study dates, even when sometimes we don’t even talk; for the calls when I’m so stressed; and for the words of encouragement.
- Thank you for taking care of me; for bullying me to take my meds; for “coercing” me to eat when I really don’t want to.
- Thank you for loving me even when I am far from perfect.

How can I sleep …
… when reality is better than my dreams?
… when I have:
- books, articles, and essays to read
- papers to write
- photos to process
- videos to edit
- and, most importantly, a thesis (seminar paper) to finish? o_O
How dare you set expectations on her! How dare you limit her choices! Where did you get the authority to do that?
If anyone is to ask me who is my favorite sister, my answer would be “Shine”. Tintin knows why she isn’t my “favorite sister”. Besides, I know for a fact that Tintin’s favorite sister is her Ate Shine.
I was in kindergarten when she was born. It is a known fact in the family that as a child, I crave for attention. I want other people’s world to revolve around me. In short, I’m a brat. I guess you imagine how this brat, at the age of three, learned that she can no longer be her father’s only princess. Sulking. Bitterness …
Because, above all else, I like the Catholic religion. It’s super inspiring, well at least some of the fables and whatevers. And I believe that it has played a vital role in molding my values in life. I have a very strong hold on things that I would never do because of my well-founded values.
